Christoforos Protopapas

Christoforos, until recently a GSP athlete and now a coach in his own team for hobby athletes, is known in the running community of Cyprus for his stubbornness and perseverance.

With the best performance in Cyprus in the last 20 years on the marathon road race with a time of 2:28:36 and 6th of all time.

Winner of Pancyprian races in the 3000m steeplechase, 5 and 10 km.

His individual records are: 15 minutes 5km, 33 in 10 km, 1:13:01 in the half marathon and with participations with the national team of Cyprus track and field , cross country , mountain running and skyrunning, Christoforos writes his own history in the running community of Cyprus.
