Charalambos Kanios is a child of athletics. He started his first steps in the bowls in 2002, at the age of 13, being an excellent athlete in the semi-endurance distances (600m - 1500m) in the age categories.
He believes that the marathon can humble you. A challenge of man towards distance, which tames you, disciplines you and by extension teaches you to manage both successes and failures perfectly. A journey that leaves an indelible imprint on the personal path of the athlete who dares to take it.
Taking a break from the age of 18 to 25, he returned to do what he always loved, running.
Today, he has established himself as one of the top long-distance athletes in our country, with his distinctions at the Pancyprian Championships, Marathon, and Half Marathon, for 2021 with two second places being his sporting highlights.
His greatest joy is the continuous growth of the running movement.
